For three decades, Danish photographer Finn Larsen has been returning each year to Greenland. Rather than taking pictures of the ice- and snow-covered landscape familiarised by the media and tourist brochures, he chooses to photograph the people who live there and their settlements. Over this period of time he has noticed how Greenland is slowly becoming more green. Trees, formerly a rare phenomenon, have begun to grow everywhere. This book can be seen as Larsen’s testament to the reality of climate change.
